KARUNA REIKI CLASS
Practitioner and Instructor Training
Karuna is a Sanskrit word used in Hinduism and Buddhism. It means any action taken to diminish the suffering of others and can also be translated as "compassionate action."
This class is the next step after Reiki Master and is both a practitioner and a Master class. Those who take the class will be able to use the Karuna symbols in their Reiki sessions and teach all levels of Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki®. You will also be able to teach Reiki I & II and Reiki Master as Holy Fire® III classes.
Karuna Reiki® is complete with eight practitioner symbols, one Master symbol, four Ignitions and two Holy Fire® meditations. A certificate and a 142-page manual are included, as well as:

Practicing and Teaching Karuna® Reiki

The Karuna symbols can be used just like other Reiki symbols when giving Reiki sessions. When teaching, the entire method is taught over one 3-day weekend, as described above. This is possible because the requirement to take the class is to have been a Reiki Master for at least 6 months. This prior training requirement allows students to use all Reiki symbols in sessions and teach the complete system to others. Also, you’ll be shown how to give the Usui/Holy Fire® III Placements for Reiki I&II and Master. The Master class uses Ignitions, which you will be empowered to give in your classes. This means that after taking this class, you and your students will be able to teach all levels of Reiki as Holy Fire® III classes.
Please bring lunch, a notebook, water, a pair of slippers/ extra socks, and an extra sweater. Classes do have built-in breaks.
Pre-requisite of Reiki 1 & 2 and MASTER from any lineage at least 6 months before the Karuna class (classes must have been in person – online or distance classes are not acknowledged unless they are ICRT certifications.)
Registration is required, and space is limited. Reiki classes are kept to a maximum of 2 - 4 students to allow for appropriate practice time and questions.
Please note that the class fee is $1044, which includes a 142-page class manual and a class certificate. A $374 deposit is required and is non-refundable. The balance is due by the day of the Reiki training class, and you can pay by cash, cheque, credit card (paid online before class), or e-transfer. Payment plan options are available.

The class combines lecture, discussion, and experience.
Practice time includes giving and receiving a complete Reiki treatment using all hand positions; self-treatment; and practising all the Japanese Reiki Techniques and Symbols

While practice takes place during the class, it is expected that you will set aside additional time to practice after the class is over. Please commit to one evening per week for several weeks, or an equivalent, to practice Reiki with one or more people from your Reiki class or with family or friends. This additional practice is necessary to gain the experience and confidence you need to utilize the Reiki training fully.
